A 21ft statue of Carl Cox has been unveiled at Space Ibiza and thousands are flocking to pay their respects to the legendary DJ.
A spokesperson for the super club stated “As Space is set to close its doors at the start of October, we thought it was only right to leave our mark. After 27 years of revolutionising music on the White Isle, what better way is there to remember it than erecting a statue in honour of our longest, most established resident, Carl Cox’.
The statue stands at a whopping 21ft outside the super club, which has been surrounded by huge crowds of party goers and tourists hoping to snap a selfie with the iron clad landmark.
The spokesperson goes on to say, “It’s been an amazing journey for the club. From when it first opened it’s doors, up until the closing parties at the end of this month, it’s been nothing short of spectacular! We really hope that this statue of Carl Cox will leave our followers with something to remember us by”.
If you’re in Ibiza for the closing parties, make sure to stop by Space and get a selfie with the man himself!!
