Percolate round out another solid year of parties up and down the UK and around Europe with three special events to help see in 2017. Two will be in London on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, while the crew also head to Manchester for a New Year’s Day special with quality stars like Floating Points, Midland, Bicep, Jane Fitz and more playing.
In a short space of time, Percolate has turned into one of the country’s most loved parties. The night deals in classy and quality underground house, disco and techno and roams through only the smartest venues. They have a cult following and are celebrated for the atmospheres and production at their events, and these final three get togethers promise to be as special as any events they have done so far.
Things kick off at Oval Space, one of Percolate’s regular homes in the capital. Playing will be a connoisseur American artist with his own novel techno sound (who will be announced closer to the time) as well as Irish party starters and tastemakers Bicep, plus deep digging soul, funk and disco DJ Floating Points who will be on from 1000-0100 for the countdown set. Bass heavy selector and Graded label boss Midland also joins the fun, with former Ostgut Ton label manager and still peerless DJ and producer Nick Höppner completing the line up with Krywald & Farrer.
The next day the party will carry on with Breakfast Club at Pickle Factory. Heading up this one is diminutive DJ Jane Fitz, the Night Moves and Freerotation resident revered for her peerless sets. Joining her is the fast rising Saoirse, along with Mr Solid Gold, Park Ranger, Rolfey and Milky.
On to Manchester next, where the industrial space of Hidden is the venue for a New Year’s Day party headed up by Floating Points, a man who’s had an impeccable 2017 thanks to his new live show, love fuelled DJ sets and mesmeric debut album. He’s joined by Australian wunderkind Mall Grab fresh from an impressive 2016, with Krywald & Farrer, Joy Social and Sam & Toby rounding off proceedings.
